During our time in Italy, we planned to visit the ice bar in Rome, or Roma! A word of advice, avoid driving into Rome. You might receive a ticket, as parking is somewhat complex for tourists, with spots designated for locals and signs in a different language. If you park incorrectly and have a rental car, they may attempt to tow it. Also, ensure you have an international driver's permit, as failing to do so can result in a hefty fine, as per Italian law. Police officers aren't inclined to explain your ticket, making it an awkward experience. Public transportation is convenient and generally operates until around midnight, depending on your destination. Taxis also tend to be somewhat expensive.

Now that I've advised you about traveling to Roma, here's more about the bar. It's a truly unique experience; it's cold, and you'll feel the temperature after about 30 minutes. For an entry fee of about $25, you receive a warm jacket and one drink. We discovered that only Vodka withstands the temperature, as the bar is -5 degrees Celsius. The Roman-themed ice sculptures were particularly captivating. The drinks are delicious and, naturally, chilled. They even serve your cocktail in an ice mold, which is the coolest part. Did you know it's not customary in Italy to serve drinks with ice unless they are cocktails? The Ice Club Roma is absolutely worth every penny. Rome at night was enchanting. We later stumbled upon a nearby bodega and an Irish pub that played hip hop and other songs I love!

Overall the Ice bar was amazing, our trip to Rome was amazing. Stay tuned for more traveling information, I can't wait to share more!
